Meet Darren Epstein
When you come to Darren Epstein with a problem, it becomes his problem. He will be driven to win for you.
Whether you are a victim of someone else's negligence or you have been accused of a crime, Darren puts his experience to work for you. You will see for yourself that what people say about him is true:
"He will fight for you as if you were a member of his own family."
Always a fierce competitor, Darren began his career working for a prominent attorney who fought major corporations, including auto manufacturers and makers of large assembly line machines, on behalf of people who were injured. Darren says, "I saw how a good lawyer could go up against the big companies and help ordinary people who had suffered amputations or other serious injuries to get justice. I knew that was what I wanted to do."
Known for his successes with both personal injury and criminal cases, Darren spoke about a recent injury case. A woman's surgeon cut the nerves to her vocal cords during an operation, which required her to have a permanent tracheotomy. The doctor's negligence resulted in the woman's having permanent breathing difficulty, speaking problems, and pain. "We were able to achieve a very substantial settlement so my client will be able to take care of herself for the rest of her life," Darren said.
Darren also has extensive experience in criminal law and litigation. His first legal assignment in New York was as an Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx and today Darren defends the accused in a range of criminal cases, including felonies, misdemeanors, and DWIs. A recent case involved a man who was arrested for rape in the first degree. "Through investigation, I was able to prove that my client did not commit the rape. The woman who had alleged the rape then admitted that she had lied to the police, and the prosecutor dismissed all charges," said Darren.
